Feast of the Fields

In just a little under a month I get to go to dinner at one of my favorite places ever!!  Last year my wife surprised me for my birthday with a dinner experience that would change the way I think about eating a gourmet meal.  She gave me driving directions but wouldn't share the surprise till we pulled into the drive of a farm located along the Kansas River near Manhattan.  At that point she explained that we would be eating in a corn field and it was such a great experience that we went back for the fall barn edition and then again for the summer addition this year.

This unique experience offers a selection of appetizers accompanied by a selection of Kansas wines followed by a gourmet meal from a local chef and made with Kansas grown products.

I hope you can get a sense of the creativity, fun, and elegance that is Feast of the Fields in the photos below.
